Our P.A.C. is made up of five union members. The members of the group are as follows…
Andy Bemis is the Business Manager of Local 630. Larry King is the President of Local 630 and an employee of JEA. Victor Jackson is an Executive Board Member of Local 630 and an employee of The City of Jacksonville. Ronnie Burris, a long time member of Local 630, as well as a former Officer and Executive Board Member of the Local. He is also an employee of JEA. Phyllis Littlejohn is the Recording Secretary of Local 630, as well as an employee of The City of Jacksonville.

The committee has set the goal of endorsing five to eight candidates for the upcoming Jacksonville City Council Election. It has been decided that the candidates will be chosen on the basis of their willingness to work with the Local, their commitment to have an open door policy with the Local as well as its members and the belief that the candidate possesses the ability to get elected. The candidates’ Political affiliation will not determine our willingness to endorse them. The Local believes that it is more important to endorse candidates that have a high probability of getting elected and who are willing to work with the union than it is to endorse candidates based solely on their party affiliation.
